Easy Pilau Rice From Home

Make your own Pilau Rice from home with this easy, 5 step recipe!

You will need:

  • Basmati Rice (1 Cup)
  • Butter (1 Ounce/28.3g)
  • Tumeric (1 Tsp)
  • Bay Leaf (1)
  • Green Cardamom Pods (4)
  • Cloves (4)
  • Fennel Seeds (1/2 Tsp)
  • Salt (1 Tsp)
  • Boiling Water (1 1/2 Cups)

 

Step 1

 

 

 

Heat up your pan and melt the butter.

 

 

Step 2

 

 

 

Stir in the rice until it is covered in butter.

 

 

Step 3

 

 

 

Add all of the spices & salt & stir in.

 

 

Step 4

 

 

 

Add the water and stir again.

 

Step 5

 

 

 

Cover for 15 minutes, try not to stir in between. Serve!
